im having my family over on christmas for dinner.
i really want to impress them. any ideas? please help!

I’m not sure about you want, traditional or original. Do you need recipes or just ideas. But I will try to answer. Baked ham is easy and always good, sweet potato casserole, (easy) green beans,frozen cranberry salad. Pecan Pie for dessert, again easy. If you decide on any of these just ask for help if you need it. You have a world of people out here ready to help. Oh yes the best way to impress the family is to make it easy so you can enjoy them instead of being frazzled.

Order a ham from Heavenly Ham company,serve it with your choice of potato or rice( for rice..Uncle Bens is Best, just follow directions on box) perhaps some type of a nice vegetable..look in a cookbook for lots of veggie ideas..and for dessert you can make a good brand of cake..chocolate always goes well, but bake it in a Bundt pan according to directions on box and drizzle it with a bourbon sauce, look in cookbook in frosting or cake section..It looks and taste expensive, but very cheap to make…Go to a liquor store and consult with salesman for a nice bottle of wine or 2 or3 for dinner..and also some nice dinner rolls or bread from the bakery
